I- Quality Assistant in Surveillance of Ground, Cargo & Operational Security
JOB TITLE
– Quality Assistant in surveillance of flight, cabin & dispatch operations
MISSION OF THE POSITION
Beneath the Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Assistant will actively participate in the definition and implementation of the surveillance programs for Flight (FLT), Cabin (CAB), and Dispatch (DSP) operations, to ensure (i) the airline complies with applicable regulations and standards, (ii) meets stated operational needs, (iii) identifies areas for improvement, (iv) identifies hazards in operations, (v) and monitors the effectiveness of safety risk controls and corrective actions. As a knowledgeable individual, she/he will contribute to continually reviewing and improving policies, programs, processes, and procedures to enhance the quality and safety of Flight operations (FLT), Cabin operations (CAB), and Dispatch operations (DSP).
MAIN ACTIVITIES
1) participate in the development and implementation of quality strategies, objectives, plans, programs, policies, processes, and procedures;
2) participate in the surveillance of operational practices in operational control (DSP), flight operations (FLT), & Cabin operations (CAB);
3) track and analyze operational reports from operational control (DSP), flight operations (FLT), & Cabin operations (CAB), and make recommendations for improvement;
4) conduct independent quality, safety, and security audits;
5) follow up on non-conformities, complaints, and discrepancies;
6) conduct investigations and surveys on quality occurrences and concerns;
7) evaluate corrections, corrective, and mitigation measures;
8) assess the effectiveness of implemented corrective & mitigation measures;
9) participate in building up a robust quality database for Flight (FLT), Cabin (CAB), and Dispatch (DSP) operations;
10)participate in building up an internal robust scheme of taxonomies for analysis and classification of occurrences and root causes derived from non-conformities, discrepancies, incidents, malfunctions, and accidents;
11)Ensure drafting, updating, and maintenance of the airline’s QMS documents, processes, procedures, and responsibilities for achieving quality policies and objectives, and the need to be continuously improved;
12)Participate in the various projects of certification, approvals, and accreditation, and ensure their timely completion and renewal;
13)participate in the management reviews and the management of changes meetings, and ensure related recommendations and decisions are implemented and assessed for effectiveness;
14)ensure regulatory and documentary watch; and
15)participate in promoting and enhancing a quality and safety culture within the Airline.
REQUIRED PROFILE
EDUCATION
- Master’s or Engineering Degree in Quality Management System, Safety Management System, or in Technology. or
- Pilot, air traffic controller, aircraft technician, dispatcher, civil aviation inspector, all with relevant-level training in quality audit, quality system management, or safety system management; or
- Equivalence acquired through professional activities and/or relevant training.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years in aviation operations with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or managerial position; or
- Minimum 3 years in Quality Management System or Safety Management System, with a minimum of 2 years of noticeable audit or investigation experience.
KNOWLEDGE
- Have good technical or managerial knowledge of aviation operations;
- Have good knowledge of the practice and application of national and international aeronautical regulations;
- Have good written and oral expression.
KNOW-HOW
- Problem-solving to devise effective solutions

- Planning to prioritize workload and balance multiple assignments
