“Human Resource Officer and Personal Assistant to the Regional Hub Director” (m/f)
Main objective of the role:
Acts in the role of Senior HR c Assistant •Organizes integrated process delivery, optimizing use of technology, ensuring relevance and optimal utility to user community in the areas of recruitment, entitlements and HRIS. The HR Officer supports HR functions related to personnel administration, recruitment and induction: organising staff files, tracking leaves, conduct recruitment process and monitoring contracts. S/he also supports monitoring of staff compensation and benefit package. The HR Officer assists the Regional Hub Director with his Agenda, travels and meetings arrangements and reporting.
- Organise meetings and activities and write minutes;
- Supports RHD with his calendar, travels (from end to end): reprensent in meetings when requested;
- Ensure accuracy and organisational compliance of job descriptions and personnel requests;
- Provide assistance to supervisors on staff recruitment till induction: preparing notices and advertisement;
- Support longlisting of applications, participate in applicant interviews and conduct reference checking on possible candidates;
- Support organisation of staff training sessions, workshops and activities;
- Process employee requests for outside training while complying with policies and procedures;
- Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential;
- Maintains quality service by following organization standards: monitor compliance relating to working conditions, performance management, HR procedures and usage of related policies and tools;
- Create personnel file for new employees and maintain digital and electronic records of employees (hard copies, computer HR folders and Human Resources Information System);
We are looking for someone who has
- Bachelor degree in business administration and human resource management or related discipline;
- Minimum 3-year experience and exposure to Labour law and employment regulations (experience in an international organisation is an advantage);
- Demonstrates excellent organisational and time management skills as well as multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision;
- Excellent interpersonal skills to form effective working relationships with people at all levels;
- Strong analytical, conflict resolution and problem solving skills;
- Ability to analyse, interpret and explain employment law with impartiality;
- Ability to write reports, minutes of meeting;
- Cross-cultural awareness and understanding of work issues;
- Ability and willingness to travel as required;
- Willingness to reflect CBM values in daily work;
- English and French professional proficiency (oral and written communication);
- Operational knowledge of IT tools, particularly advanced Word and Excel skills;
- Sound personal skills: credible, self-confident & directed, independent, flexible working, strategical;
